Tourists outnumber the Icelandic people by a factor of two to one in a given year.  Despite this, Icelanders are the most kind, helpful, modest and patient people I have ever met–especially when tourists can be tired, ignorant and obnoxious.  Here are some photos from a trip to Iceland in February 2015.  The land is bracing, wild, and lovely.
